Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the PrepBrief Chrome extension or using getprepbrief.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided by SideEye Labs Pte. Ltd. (“SideEye Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Singapore.

2. What PrepBrief Does

PrepBrief is a Chrome browser extension that reads calendar event data you explicitly select in Google Calendar and generates AI-powered meeting briefs using that data. The extension only accesses event information when you actively click the Prep button on a specific event. It does not read your calendar in the background.

3. Account & Access

You must provide a valid email address to use PrepBrief. We use magic link authentication — no password is required. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Free accounts are limited to 3 brief generations per day. Pro accounts ($12/month) have unlimited brief generation.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Service
• Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or deceptive
• Abuse the free tier or share API keys
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use automated scripts to generate briefs in bulk

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of PrepBrief is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Event data you submit is processed to generate your brief and is not stored after generation. We use Anthropic's Claude API for AI processing. We do not sell your data.

6. Payments & Cancellation

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to Free tier. We do not offer refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.

7. Not Affiliated with Google

PrepBrief is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. Google Calendar is a trademark of Google LLC. PrepBrief uses publicly available browser extension APIs to read calendar event data displayed in your browser.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. AI-generated meeting briefs may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it in professional settings. We do not guarantee uptime or accuracy of brief content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideEye Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
